Requirements
- Degree educated
- Has experience as a social compliance auditor
- APSCA – CSCA level is preferable
- Minimum leadership role experience - 5 years
- Project management experience – at least 2 years
- Can speak and write English (B1 level min, B2 preferred)
- Fluent in speaking, reading, and writing the Thai language.
- Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and email systems
- Proactive, can-do attitude and strong teamwork ethic
- Reside in Thailand, work from home with occasional travels to work sites/meetings in Thailand, etc.
- Able to work across US and EU time zones
Responsibilities
Programme Development and Oversight:
- Develop and oversee annual assessment programmes for shrimp and tuna, including reviewing reports, analyzing trends, and ensuring quality assessments.
- Manage auditor training programmes for shrimp and tuna, including materials development, calibration, and performance reviews.
- Establish and maintain responsible recruitment practices, collaborating with members, employers, and recruitment agencies.
Stakeholder Engagement and Collaboration:
- Engage with members, stakeholders, and government agencies in driving key projects: responsible recruitment and grievance mechanisms.
- Work closely with local contacts to implement oversight and improvement programmes, ensuring alignment with STF objectives.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to address industrial social issues.
Standards Development and Implementation:
- Develop and implement traceability protocols for non-ISSF tuna members.
- Benchmark industry standards and implement grievance mechanisms for vessels.
- Drive continuous improvement through the development of KPIs, remediation strategies, and capacity-building initiatives.
KPI’s:

- Percentage of annual assessment programmes completed on schedule for shrimp and tuna.
- Number of new training materials developed and implemented for auditor training programmes.
- Auditor performance improvement rate after training and calibration sessions.
Stakeholder Engagement and Collaboration:
- Number of stakeholder engagement activities organized or participated in.
- Number of successful implementation projects related to responsible recruitment and grievance mechanisms.
- Stakeholder satisfaction rate
- Percentage of local contacts trained and effectively implementing oversight programmes.
Standards Development and Implementation:
